John is a third year PhD student in the Animal Science graduate program.His research interests include characterization of gene expression across tissues in swine and cattle with microarrays, identification of gene expression patterns associated with economically important traits in swine and cattle, and development of bioinformatics tools for the analysis and storage of high-throughput genomics data.
